Cycle Chala City Bacha envisions to make CYCLING the preferred mode for commute & a way of life across all the 24 wards of Mumbai. Our Vision is to make Mumbai the Cycling Capital of India by 2030. While moving towards making cycling-friendly wards, each ward has its own diversity of opportunities and challenges. To combat these challenges with a more contextualised approach we have 24 BICYCLE COUNCILLORS across the cities who will be closely working at the grass-root level with the specific BMC ward officers and other important stakeholders in their respective ward. These councilors will be selected based on the rigorous selection process which will map their Passion, Commitment, and Skills. The purpose of this program is to promote cycling and increase ridership in all 24 wards of the city. The tenure of the councilors will be for the next 2 years from the date of appointment. Each councilor will be closely mentored by our panelists cum mentors.
